Even worse, is the fact that if you do manage to protect a colossus long enough to take out a planet, EVERYONE in the galaxy suddenly blocks you from their territory and hate your guts.Stellaris Galaxy Edition includes: DIGITAL ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACKThe Stellaris soundtrack delivers two and a half hours of original music, including bonus tracks and alternate versions not included in the game. It's also much cheaper to use soldiers to take planets.
By the time a colossus takes out one planet, you could have occupied 10 planets with transports. What's more, is that it seems ultimately pointless. All the while, the colossus draws enemies like flies to a dung heap.
#COLOSSUS STELLARIS CRACKER#
What's the point in using one? Am currently on my second game since Apocalypse, and I finally decided to take the colossus project ascension perk, instead of my usual megastructure perk, and one thing I noticed is that they seem a bit pointless.įor one, they seem to have a similar role to transports in that they are used to take planets (or destroy planets, but I went with neutron sweep over core cracker since I'd rather have planets to inhabit) except that they take forever to charge their weapon, then another forever to actually fire the weapon.
